PawProsper is home to a suite of preventative, supportive and rehabilitative products that help pets live healthful, pain-free, joy-filled days throughout their entire lives.

They focus on building a platform of efficacious hard goods and soft goods that are simple solutions for pet vitality. They offer multiple Branded pet wellness products on one wholesale platform targeted at thousands of veterinarians that can purchase products from Paw Prosper and earn a margin without having to bring the stock into the clinic

The Problem

PawProsper’s website was simply a landing page. It was a new build, linking Paw Prosper customers to two businesses they own: Help ‘Em Up Harness and FitPAWS. With this in mind, PawProsper would like to achieve the following on their new website:

  • Click Rate Optimization
  • Faster Upload times
  • Simplicity of display / easy to consume
  • Professional feel
  • Strong content and copy with easy to read/consume product feature descriptions
  • Fast and easy checkout

They also identified the following functional requirements that are needed within the new website:

  • Account Management (wholesalers can login to purchase) with approval
  • Payment
  • Pricing tiers
  • Ability for customers to “favorite” products for easy to find
  • Only distributors will be able to purchase on the site – consumers can click the links to each individual brand to buy on the individual D2C sites
  • Affiliate program / commission / rebate


Overall, the scope of this project is to design and develop a professional e-commerce website for To deliver the specifications and requirements on all functionality, the new website will need several app integrations and connect the apps across their business with ecommerce automation.

Shopify a SaaS (Software as a Service) is a premier eCommerce solution that can enable PawProsper to achieve what they want and build out their online stores with ease. The versatile platform will help them organize their product listings. It also accepts over 100 payment gateways, supports the very best SEO practices, and can track all orders from start to finish.

In terms of ease of use, the platform allows store admins to make changes fast with a drag-and-drop theme editor, or dive into the code for advanced customizations. They will also be able to view performance analytics, create new stores, and manage automation flows across all Pawprosper’s stores.

The Solution

Maxburst built a new wholesale site for on Shopify Plus, using a contemporary and modern design with a new theme. The Design\UX UI included the home page, product page, collection page, collection list page, and cart page.

Collaborating with PawProsper’s design agency, Maxburst also built two DTC sites & on Shopify Plus. They migrated all products, categories, customers, and order data and implemented 301 redirects to mitigate any loss of traffic from search engines.

Finally, they integrated the following apps to meet the functional requirements indicated by PawProsper:

  • Veeqo – to track and organize PawProsper’s sales data (inventory, order entry) to make planning, purchasing, and growing their business a breeze.
  • Shipstation – to manage PawProsper’s small parcel and LTL shipping needs in one place.
  • Quickbooks – For Pawprosper’s invoicing and accounting needs
  • Bundle & Upsell – To attract more customers to help increase sales and grow ROI by allowing PawProsper to offer various bundles such as Product Bundle, Quantity/Volume Discounts, Combo Product, FBT, Mix & Match Build Box that can be displayed in any language. It will also keep therstock accurate and up-to-date with the help of Automated Inventory Sync.
